The Lord Will Never Leave You

Dear Lord,

Help us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding, but in all things acknowledge Your watchful care over us. Sometimes we stray into paths of unrighteousness, but help us to be ever mindful of Your love and grace.

The Lord is always with you. He never leaves. Sometimes you may become discouraged and think He has moved far away, but that premise is wrong. God never moves. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He’s only a whisper away at any given time. Cling to Him in times of trouble, don’t let go. During the dark hours are the times you need Him most, so cling hardest then.

You may have ups and downs, good days and bad days, but you are not unlike anyone else on this earth. Jesus said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NLT

Trust Him, walk with Him, and cling to Him. Jesus will never let you down.

About Brenda B. Taylor

The desire to write historical fiction has long been a passion with Brenda B. Taylor. Since elementary school, she has written stories in her spare time. Brenda earned three degrees: a BSE from Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; a MEd from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas; and an EdD from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas; then worked as a teacher and administrator in the Texas Public School system. Only after retirement could she fulfill the dream of publication. Brenda and her husband make their home in beautiful East Texas where they enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and working in Bethabara Faith Ministry, Inc. She crafts stories about the extraordinary lives of ordinary people in her favorite place overlooking bird feeders, bird houses, and a variety of blooming trees and flowers. She sincerely thanks all who purchase and read her books. Her desire is that the message in each book will touch the heart of the reader as it did hers in the writing.
